The synth-pop legend is returning to Poland. Alphaville, the band behind the timeless hit “Forever Young,” is celebrating the 40th anniversary of one of the most important songs in the history of popular music and will perform at Atlas Arena in Łódź on April 19, 2026. The audience can look forward to a unique multimedia show that will take viewers on a journey back to the golden 1980s, filled with distinctive synthesizer sounds, nostalgia, and musical energy.
Alphaville is a band founded in 1982 in Münster by Marian Gold, Bernhard Lloyd, and Frank Mertens. From the very beginning, the band set the tone for European synth-pop, creating melancholic melodies and distinctive electronic arrangements that remain their trademark to this day. The breakthrough came with their 1984 debut album “Forever Young”—a release featuring songs that have permanently etched themselves into music history and won the hearts of millions of listeners around the world.
The concert in Łódź will be an opportunity to reconnect with music that has become the soundtrack to many people’s fondest memories. The band has prepared a special program celebrating four decades of music and the enduring success of their signature hit.
Admission for visitors under 16 is permitted only when accompanied by an adult guardian. The guardian must have a valid admission ticket.
Tickets for the Alphaville concert will go on sale on December 14, 2025.
