August 13, 2025 - Amadeus Live – a cinematic masterpiece with live music at Atlas Arena!

On January 2, 2026, Atlas Arena will take audiences on an extraordinary journey into the world of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s genius and his dramatic rivalry with Antonio Salieri. As part of the Amadeus Live project, we will see Miloš Forman’s cult film Amadeus on the big screen, winner of 8 Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay.

However, this will be no ordinary screening—every note of Mozart’s music will be performed live by the Beethoven Academy Orchestra and the Polish Radio Choir – Lusławice, under the baton of the distinguished Dutch conductor Ernst van Tiel. The powerful sound of the orchestra and choir, combined with the film’s masterful storytelling, will create a unique, emotionally charged performance.

"Amadeus " is not only a portrait of a brilliant composer, but also a compelling story about human frailties, jealousy, and the price of fame. Forman masterfully blends historical drama with lightness and humor, creating a film that has delighted both film and classical music lovers for years.

This event is part of a unique series that presents cinema in a completely new light—with a full, live symphonic performance of the soundtrack. This allows audiences to experience the magic of both film and concert at the same time, making Amadeus Live a one-of-a-kind artistic experience.
