In the fall of 2026, Łódź will become the capital of rock music. The Atlas Arena will welcome an undisputed legend of the genre—Deep Purple. The concert, scheduled for October 8, will be the only opportunity in Poland to see live a band that has consistently defined the sound of rock for five decades.
Deep Purple is an undisputed icon. With a career spanning over half a century, best-selling albums, and sold-out concert tours, they remain one of the genre’s greatest legends. Their unparalleled catalog of songs—from the immortal “Smoke on the Water” to “Highway Star”—continues to inspire new generations of musicians, and their live performances reaffirm their status as pioneers of hard rock.
The band’s music continues to reach new audiences. A new version of their classic track “Child in Time” was recently featured in a trailer for the series “Stranger Things,” introducing millions of young listeners to this rock anthem. Meanwhile, the success of their 2024 album “=1” proved that these giants show no signs of slowing down and continue to push the boundaries of the genre.
At their only concert in Poland, which will take place on October 8, 2026, at Atlas Arena, the opening act will be a rising rock band from the UK—Jayler.
