March 20, 2026 - Two games and a concert in one day. Traffic disruptions expected near the ŁKS Stadium and Atlas Arena on Saturday

Thousands of fans and concertgoers will gather in the area around the ŁKS Stadium and Atlas Arena at the same time. The city encourages people to use public transportation and plan their trips in advance.

On Saturday, March 21, 2026, three major events will take place at the Łódź Sports Center, attracting residents and visitors from all over Poland. This means increased traffic in the area around Unii Lubelskiej Avenue and Bandurskiego Avenue.

At 2:30 p.m., ŁKS Łódź will face Ruch Chorzów at the Władysław Król Municipal Stadium at 2 Unii Avenue. Around 1:00 p.m., visiting fans will arrive at Łódź Kaliska Station and then make their way to the stadium.

Ken Carson will perform at Atlas Arena. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and the concert starts at 8:15 p.m. Attendees from all over Poland will be coming to the event.

The basketball game between ŁKS CoolPack Łódź and Miners Katowice will tip off at 8:00 p.m. at Sport Arena.

The most significant disruptions are expected:

· on Unii Lubelskiej Avenue between Konstantynowska Street and Bandurskiego Avenue,

· on Bandurskiego Avenue near Atlas Arena and the Łódź Kaliska train station.

Drivers should expect possible delays and parking restrictions. We recommend using public transportation.

Changes to public transportation (MPK Łódź):

· Between approximately 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., buses on routes 80B, 86, 97A/B, 99, and 6MUK will not stop at the Bandurskiego – Łódź Kaliska Station (1599) stop,

· Route 97A/B will follow a detour (turning around at the roundabout on Maleszewska Street), stopping at the Bandurskiego – Atlas Arena stop (1772), among others,

· After the concert, an additional articulated bus will depart at 11:20 p.m. from the Bandurskiego – Atlas Arena stop (1772), following the N2 route to the Kościuszki – 6 Sierpnia stop.

 

Security will be provided by law enforcement agencies, including police officers assigned to secure mass events and the march of sports fans.
