One of the most important bands in contemporary alternative music is coming to Łódź. On October 31, 2026, Fontaines D.C. —an Irish band with strong post-punk roots that has been one of the world’s most acclaimed guitar-driven bands for several years—will perform at Atlas Arena.
The concert will be part of the band's largest indoor tour to date, comprising 20 shows in Europe and the United Kingdom. The tour will kick off on October 21 in Lisbon—five days after the release of their new album , *Dopamine Chamber*, which is scheduled for October 16—and will conclude on November 27 at London's O2 Arena.
"Dopamine Chamber" will be Fontaines D.C.'s fifth studio album and the follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2024 album "Romance," which went platinum in the UK. James Ford is once again producing the new album.
The new material is set to be the boldest shift in the band’s discography to date. Fontaines D.C. are moving away from the raw guitar sound of their early albums in favor of more sensual and multi-layered compositions. The first single promoting the album is the track “Marianne, ” and the album itself explores the search for pleasure in a world heading toward crisis. As lead singer Grian Chatten says: “This album functions like the titular dopamine chamber. You step inside, and we test out songs on you that are meant to alter your mood and state of mind.”
Fontaines D.C. consists of Grian Chatten, Carlos O’Connell, Conor Curley, Conor Deegan, and Tom Coll. They gained international popularity with their debut album , *Dogrel* ( 2019), and with their subsequent releases— *A Hero’s Death*, *Skinty Fia* , and *Romance* —they cemented their status as one of the most important bands on the contemporary guitar scene.
The concert at Atlas Arena will be the band’s only performance in Poland during their fall tour promoting the album “Dopamine Chamber,” which will take them to the largest concert venues in Europe and the United Kingdom. Once again, Łódź has made it onto the map of one of this fall’s most important international concert tours, hosting artists who perform at Europe’s largest arenas.

Fontaines D.C. supports War Child UK. For every ticket sold, 1 euro will be donated to the organization’s efforts to help children affected by war through protection, education, and advocacy for their rights.
The Fontaines D.C. concert is the latest addition to an exceptionally packed fall concert schedule at Atlas Arena. October at the Łódź venue will be filled with events spanning a wide range of musical genres—from Mrozu and Deep Purple, to concerts by Young Thug and OKI, all the way to one of the most important contemporary alternative bands.
