Kazik, an icon of the Polish independent scene, will perform as part of the "Light and MRock" project. In Lodz, he will join the creators of the project - Katarzyna Nosowska and Piotr Rogucki. Together they will take the audience to a musical world in which the audience will decide the course of a given concert.
Icons of the Polish rock scene on one stage
"Light and MRock" is a project in which selected songs will be arranged in two ways, and it will be up to the audience to decide whether the next song will be played in a softer arrangement or, conversely, take the audience into darker areas. The singer, lyricist, writer or simply - an expressive personality and artist, that is Katarzyna Nosowska and Piotr Rogucki - a musical chameleon who feels equally at home on stage as on a theater or film set - will take care of making them resound in the right way. They will be joined on the tour by exceptional musical guests. In Lodz it will be Kazik, already called a legend of Polish music by many. For years he has not only fronted the band Kult, but also regularly releases solo material or joins other projects.
Rock in a new edition
"Light and MRock" is the first concert on the Polish market, the course of which is co-determined by the audience, taking part of the control over the concert and becoming its co-creators. Depending on their mood, attendees will choose whether the selected arrangements will be dark in nature or, conversely, luminous. This will be possible, among other things, through voting before the event via social media, and during - through the use of modern technology, such as a sonometer, a dedicated app and automated lighting systems.
The preparation of the arrangements is overseen by two music producers - Paweł Cieślak, associated, among others, with the band Coma, and Michal FOX Król, who has been working with Katarzyna Nosowska for years. It is largely on their cooperation and creative approach that will depend on how songs belonging to the classics of Polish rock will sound during the "Light and MRock" tour.
