Summer in Łódź 2026: Festivals, concerts, sports, and outdoor events
From late June through the first days of September, Łódź will transform into a vibrant hub of summer entertainment. This summer’s program includes music festivals, sporting events, family attractions, and outdoor events drawing participants from all over Poland.
Residents and tourists can look forward to events such as “Vacation on Piotrkowska,” the Łódź Summer Festival, Audioriver, the FIM Speedway Grand Prix, Sambodrom, the Parade of Freedom, the All-Star Game, and the Polish Handball Super Cup. For several months, Łódź offers plenty of reasons to get out of the house, meet up in the city center, and enjoy the summer to the fullest.
Summer Fun on Piotrkowska Street: Eight Free Events Each Week
Eight free events a week, dozens of gatherings, and two months of attractions in the city center. That’s what “Summer on Piotrkowska” has in store, kicking off the summer event season in Łódź.
The first event in this year’s series will be dance parties with live music. The program will combine fun with the opportunity to explore various dance styles—from swing and tango to rock ’n’ roll, Latin, and the biggest hits of the ’80s. A new addition this year is live concerts. Each event will begin with a short lesson led by instructors from Łódź dance schools, so even those taking their first steps on the dance floor can join in the fun.
The Trippers Stompers will perform at the opening ceremony, taking attendees on a journey into the world of energetic swing inspired by the sounds of the 1920s and 1930s.

Silent Disco on Piotrkowska Street
That same Friday evening will wrap up with one of the biggest new attractions at this year’s “Summer on Piotrkowska” festival—the Silent Disco. Participants will receive wireless headphones and can choose what music they want to dance to by switching between the available channels.
This will bring together fans of different music genres on a single dance floor, and everyone will be able to create their own soundtrack for a summer party. From the outside, it looks like the participants are dancing in silence, but through their headphones, rhythms are playing that encourage everyone to join in the fun.

Songwriter Łódź Festival and Balkon on 102!
PUHOVSKY, also known as Romek Puchowski—a vocalist, composer, songwriter, and DOBRO slide guitar virtuoso—will open the first weekend of the Songwriter Łódź Festival. For years, the artist has been moving between alternative, delta blues, and indie folk, creating his own musical worlds and a distinctive sound.
He is the leader of the band Von Zeit, a producer, and the author of eight music releases. In 2018, he was named “Guitarist of the Year” in the Blues Top poll, and his compositions have been successful in competitions such as the ISC and UOMC. He is best known for his energetic solo concerts, during which he effortlessly blends various musical styles.

After the opening concert of the Songwriter Łódź Festival, it’s worth staying in the city center a little longer. Just a few hundred meters away, “Balkon na 102!” will kick off—a series of events dedicated to electronic music. The program features sets prepared by Łódź-based DJs and producers, who will showcase the many facets of electronic music.

A Fairytale Piotrkowska for the Little Ones
Sunday mornings during the “Summer on Piotrkowska” festival will, as usual, be dedicated to the youngest visitors. The “Fairytale Piotrkowska” series will kick off with the play “Szałaputki,” produced by Teatryle.
This is a humorous story about two mischievous chicks who, despite their mother’s warnings, get into trouble. When one of them is kidnapped by a fox, an adventurous rescue mission begins, and even the shy little mouse joins in. The play tells an accessible story about courage, friendship, and taking responsibility for others.

Ravekjavik Forever. Electronic Music, Visual Arts, and Performance Art
The first weekend of summer vacation in Łódź will feature more than just events on Piotrkowska Street. At the same time, the tenth anniversary edition of the Ravekjavik Forever festival will take place. For years, this event has combined electronic music, visual arts, and performance art, attracting artists and audiences from Poland and abroad.
This year’s lineup highlights the festival’s international character. Performers will include DJ Stingray 313, Holden & Zimpel, Zebra Katz, ABADIR, Árni Valur, Omasta, and Zdechły Osa. The organizers have also prepared exhibitions, audiovisual installations, fashion shows, and accompanying events organized in collaboration with cultural institutions in Łódź.

Geyer Music Factory. Summer Concerts at the White Factory
July will kick off with the 17th edition of Geyer Music Factory—a summer concert series held in the courtyard of the White Factory. This year’s repertoire is based on interpretations of works by well-known artists and bands such as Phil Collins, Agnieszka Osiecka, Republika, and Eric Clapton.
The program also features the biggest disco hits of the 1970s and 1980s, as well as songs from the soundtracks of Quentin Tarantino’s films. The opening concert, “Tribute2 Phil Collins,” performed by Radek Bolewski and Leszek Kołodziejski, will take place on July 3. The program will be complemented by accompanying events, including guided tours of the exhibitions at the Central Museum of Textiles.

Audioriver 2026 at Łódź Błonia Park
One of the highlights of this summer will be the 20th anniversary edition of Audioriver. The festival, which has been attracting electronic music fans from Poland and abroad for two decades, will once again take place at Łódzkie Błonia.
The lineup features both legends of the electronic music scene and artists representing the most exciting trends in contemporary club music. The lineup includes The Prodigy, Disclosure, Marlon Hoffstadt, Damian Lazarus, Ben Klock, Boys Noize, ZHU, and Catz 'n Dogz, among others. The organizers are promising three days of concerts, DJ sets, and audiovisual projects.

Piotrkowska Street Celebrates Its Birthday. Łódź Celebrates Its 603rd Birthday
At the end of July, Łódź will celebrate its 603rd anniversary. For three days, Piotrkowska Street and the surrounding areas will be filled with events designed for residents and tourists of all ages.
The program features themed zones combining entertainment, sports, education, and family activities. Participants will be able to try their hand at escape rooms, enjoy sports activities, and take part in workshops and educational sessions. For the youngest visitors, there will be activities, inflatable play structures, creative workshops, and characters from Czyściochów.

That’s what the Łódź Summer Festival 2026 promises, transforming Łódź’s Błonia Park into one of Poland’s top summer music destinations for three days.

FIM Speedway Grand Prix in Łódź for the first time
August will kick off an event that will go down in the history of sports in Łódź. For the first time, Moto Arena Łódź will host a round of the FIM Speedway Grand Prix—the most prestigious individual world championship series in speedway.
The track will host the world’s best riders as they compete for points in the world championship standings. For fans, this will be a unique opportunity to see the world’s top speedway riders without having to travel to other European venues.

Sambodrome. Brazilian rhythms on Piotrkowska Street
Brazilian rhythms will take over downtown Łódź. The Sambodrom is one of the most colorful events on the city’s summer calendar. A spectacular parade featuring musicians and dancers will wind its way down Piotrkowska Street.
Leading the parade will be the Batucada Samba Band, playing traditional Brazilian percussion instruments. Set to the sounds of samba, dancers in colorful costumes inspired by the Rio de Janeiro Carnival will take the stage, accompanied by a vocalist from Brazil. The program will also feature capoeira demonstrations, which combine elements of dance, acrobatics, and martial arts.

Freedom Parade 2026. The Grand Finale of Summer in Downtown Łódź
The Freedom Parade will return to downtown Łódź on August 28–30, 2026, and promises to be the event’s largest and most spectacular edition yet. For three days, Piotrkowska Street and the city’s squares will be transformed into an open space for music, dance, and communal celebration.
This year’s program will combine impressive platforms, large stages, performances by artists from Poland and abroad, and special projects prepared for the Parade. The organizers promise even more decorations, colors, lights, and spectacular moments that will fill the city center. The entire outdoor portion of the Parade will remain free and open to everyone.

All-Star Game and Łódź Soccer Camp
August will bring to a close an event that combines the excitement of sports with the development of young male and female soccer players. On August 29, the second edition of the All-Star Game—conceived and championed by Grzegorz Krychowiak—will take place at the Municipal Stadium in Łódź.
Polish and French soccer legends, as well as well-known figures from the worlds of sports, media, and the internet, will take the field. Zbigniew Boniek, Robert Pirès, Jean-Pierre Papin, Samuel Umtiti, and Alain Giresse have already confirmed their participation. The event will be accompanied by the Łódź Soccer Camp—a project aimed at young male and female soccer players from all over Poland.

Polish Handball Super Cup at Atlas Arena
There will be no shortage of sporting excitement at Atlas Arena either. On August 29, the third edition of the Polish Handball Super Cup will take place, kicking off the new season of domestic competition.
On the court, we’ll see the best Polish teams competing for the season’s first trophy—in both the women’s and men’s competitions. The organizers are also preparing the Park Super Cup—a fan zone with attractions for the whole family—which will run alongside the sporting competition throughout the day.
