The final of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup will be held in Łódź
Łódź has been selected to host the final of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
The Władysław Król Municipal Stadium will be one of the tournament’s main venues,
and fans will be able to watch as many as 20 matches in the city.
One of the biggest sporting events of 2026 in Poland
The 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup will be one of the biggest sporting events
in Poland next year. The tournament will take place from
September 5–27, 2026, and the final will be held
in Łódź.
The Władysław Król Municipal Stadium will serve as the main venue for the tournament. A total of 20 matches are scheduled to be held in Łódź
, including the most important matches
of the knockout stage, the third-place match, and the World Cup final.
20 World Cup matches in Łódź
The stadium in Łódź will play a key role during the tournament. Fans will see the following there:
- 12 group stage matches,
- 6 knockout-round matches,
- the third-place game,
- World Cup final.
Teams from 24 countries around the world will participate in the tournament.
Poland will play in Group A
For the first time in history, the Polish Women’s U-20 National Team will compete in a tournament of this caliber
as the host nation. The White-and-Reds have been drawn into Group A,
where they will face Argentina, Mexico, and Benin.

The group draw took place in Łódź
The group draw took place at EC1 in Łódź and was broadcast on
FIFA+, YouTube, and TikTok. The organizers emphasized that Poland and Łódź
are ready to welcome fans from around the world.
Łódź Mayor Hanna Zdanowska noted that hosting a tournament of this caliber
in Poland is “a milestone in the development of women’s soccer.”
FIFA President Gianni Infantino, meanwhile, emphasized that Poland had already
demonstrated its organizational capabilities during the 2019 FIFA U-20
Men’s World Cup.
The First FIFA Women's World Cup in Poland
The 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup will be the first-ever women’s
FIFA-sanctioned tournament held in Poland. The tournament matches will be played
in four cities: Łódź, Katowice, Bielsko-Biała, and Sosnowiec.
The championship final will be held at the Władysław Król Municipal Stadium in Łódź.
