The first edition of the Łódź Soccer Camp will begin in a month

In a month, the first edition of the Łódź Soccer Camp will begin—a project aimed at girls’ and boys’ teams in the U-11 category. Czesław Michniewicz will be among the camp’s special guests. The City of Łódź is the title sponsor of the event.

From August 25 to 29, 2026, Łódź will host eight teams from across Poland, which will take part in an intensive training program and educational sessions led by specialists.

From among all the applications, six teams were selected to join the two partner teams of AKS SMS Łódź. The following teams will participate in the first edition of the Łódź Soccer Camp: Girls Mieścisko, Vielgovia Szczecin, Akademia Warty Poznań, Naprzód Zielonki, Akademia Piłkarska Nazar, KS Avia Kamionki, and two teams from AKS SMS Łódź.

The four-day camp program will include professional soccer training sessions at the AKS SMS Łódź facility, as well as a meeting with nutritionist Wojciech Zep. The young players will also have the opportunity to meet Grzegorz Krychowiak and other sports stars. Among the guests at the Łódź Soccer Camp will be former Polish national team coach Czesław Michniewicz, who will share his experience and talk about his path to a professional career.

The Łódź Soccer Camp will culminate in matches featuring the best girls’ and boys’ teams, which will be played on August 29 at the stadium on Piłsudskiego Avenue, immediately before the Poland–France All-Star Game. Camp participants will also be in the stands during the main event, cheering on soccer legends.

“There was a great deal of interest in the Łódź Soccer Camp during the recruitment phase, which confirms that there was a need for such a project. After a detailed review of the applications, we selected six teams, which—along with two partner teams from AKS SMS Łódź—will begin Łódź’s first-ever soccer camp, organized as part of the Łódź Soccer Camp, in just one month,” says Grzegorz Krychowiak.

“One of the highlights of this year’s edition will also be a documentary film that will capture the camp’s progress and the emotions of its participants—from the first day all the way through the final matches played at the stadium on Piłsudskiego Avenue. Soon, together with the City of Łódź, we will provide more details about this project,” adds Grzegorz Krychowiak.

The City of Łódź is the Title Partner of the project.
