We have some exceptional months ahead in Polish and global track and field. On the road to the World Indoor Championships, which Poland will host in March 2026, the first stop is Łódź’s Atlas Arena. It is in Łódź, on January 25, that the biggest stars of the “Queen of Sports” will kick off the 2026 season!
– The meet promises to be exceptionally exciting. We’ll see Polish stars at the starting line who have already won over fans’ hearts many times at Atlas Arena. Pia Skrzyszowska, Jakub Szymański, and Piotr Lisek will be joining us. High jumper Maria Żodzik is also planning her first appearance in front of a Polish audience since winning the silver medal at the World Championships, according to the event organizers.
The ORLEN Cup Łódź, which has been held for many years, is now a staple of the Atlas Arena’s winter calendar. Spectacular track and field events such as the sprint, the hurdles, the shot put, the high jump, and the pole vault get thousands of fans in the stands fired up.
– The ORLEN Cup Łódź 2026 meet will take place on January 25, and for yet another year in a row, it will hold the prestigious World Athletics Indoor Tour Silver status. In addition, the Łódź competition will be one of the first international track and field events of the 2026 indoor season. This guarantees a truly stellar lineup and a high level of competition. I can already announce the presence of Polish stars. Pia Skrzyszowska, Piotr Lisek, and Jakub Szymański will be joining us in Łódź. High jumper Maria Żodzik will make her first appearance here since winning a World Championship medal. We are in intensive talks with international stars and will soon be able to share information about their participation in Łódź as well. There will be plenty of excitement in all events.
