On September 17, the parking lot at Moto Arena will be transformed into a drive-in theater for the eighth time. Viewers will watch the comedy-drama *It’s Easy to Lie in Good Company* on the big screen. This is the final screening as part of the Moto Polówka section of the TME Polówka Summer Film Festival at this location.
Movies from the Comfort of Your Car Seat
For the finale of Moto Polówka at Moto Arena, the organizers have prepared Paolo Genovese’s 2016 film. The story of seven friends who, during dinner, decide to reveal all the messages and incoming calls on their phones quickly turns into a tale of secrets, trust, and the boundaries of privacy. “It’s Easy to Lie in Good Company” is a comedy-drama that entertains but also prompts reflection on relationships and just how much we really know about those closest to us.
Moto Polówka is a section of the TME “Polówka” Summer Film Festival where viewers watch movies from inside their own cars. Instead of movie theater seats, there are parking spaces, and the movie’s audio is played through the cars’ radios. These free open-air screenings combine the atmosphere of an outdoor cinema with the convenience of watching a movie from your own car.

Eight films at MAKiS venues
This year’s Moto Polówka features eight screenings at the Municipal Arena of Culture and Sports. The first four screenings took place in the parking lot in front of Atlas Arena, where viewers watched “Pulp Fiction,” “The Housekeeper,” “F1: The Movie,” and “Shrek 2.” The series then moved to Moto Arena, where “Green Book,” “Barbie,” and “Day of the Wacko” were shown on the big screen. The September screening of “It’s Good to Lie in Good Company” will wrap up this year’s series at this location.

All summer long, the MAKiS parking lots were transformed into unique movie theaters, welcoming audiences in their own cars, on motorcycles, bicycles, and in RVs. There were plenty of contests, a narrator reading live, and the horn-signaling that’s a hallmark of Moto Polówka.
This is the last Moto Polówka event at Moto Arena this season. The TME “Polówka” Summer Film Festival will run through the end of September; details are available on the organizer’s website.
