This coming Monday, November 10, Łódź’s Atlas Arena will become the epicenter of modern metal. As part of their “20 Year Anniversary European Tour,” metalcore giants Parkway Drive will perform their only concert in Poland. The band will present the biggest production in their history, accompanied by a powerful Australian lineup: Thy Art Is Murder and The Amity Affliction.
The Byron Bay-based band is celebrating its 20th anniversary—a period during which they’ve gone from metal newcomers to headliners at the world’s biggest festivals. To mark the occasion, the band has embarked on an epic tour, presenting a show that impresses even the most discerning audiences.
Known for their high-energy live shows, the Australians are bringing a wild production to Łódź, complete with hellish flames and incredible lighting. “It’s going to be on a whole new level. (…) We’ll deliver a massive production full of fire and energy that will surpass everything we’ve done so far,” announces Parkway Drive frontman Winston McCall. The quintet’s discography concludes with the 2022 album “Darker Still.”
To further highlight the scale of their anniversary tour, Parkway Drive has invited their fellow countrymen to join them. Special guests will include the deathcore band Thy Art Is Murder, promoting their highly acclaimed album “Godlike,” and The Amity Affliction —masters of post-hardcore—who are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their breakthrough album “Let The Ocean Take Me.”
