It’s official! Łódź will once again become the European capital of volleyball! The continent’s best club teams will compete for the CEV Champions League trophy at Atlas Arena on May 16–18, 2025. This extraordinary event returns to Poland for the first time since 2016, and it will be hosted by none other than Łódź—a city that loves volleyball!
Atlas Arena is back on the European volleyball map!
For three days, the arena in Łódź will be the scene of top-level volleyball action. The semifinals will take place on May 16 and 17, and the final and third-place match on May 18. Everyone who remembers the atmosphere from 2010 and 2012, when Atlas Arena hosted the Final Four, know one thing—it will be a spectacular show! “It is a great joy and honor that Łódź will once again host this grand celebration of volleyball!“ I would like to thank the CEV and PZPS authorities for their trust—this is a clear signal to us that our city is a proven, ideal venue for hosting prestigious sporting events,”said Hanna Zdanowska, Mayor of Łódź.
Will we see any Polish teams in the Final Four?
That’s the question every fan is asking. We still have a great chance, because as many as three Polish teams are still fighting for a spot in the final tournament. If any of them advance, we can be sure that the Atlas Arena will be bursting at the seams!“We’re certain that a spectacular show awaits us. What’s more, we’re keeping our fingers crossed for the Polish teams fighting for a spot in the Final Four, because we have a chance for a historic final tournament featuring as many as three Polish teams!” emphasized Sebastian Świderski, president of the Polish Volleyball Federation (PZPS).
Łódź loves volleyball—the fans will create an amazing atmosphere!
Atlas Arena has proven time and again that it is the perfect venue for major sporting events. In the past, the following teams have triumphed here Trentino Volley and Zenit Kazanhave triumphed here, while thousands of fans eager for volleyball excitement filled the stands. CEV President Roko Sikirić doesn’t hide his excitement: “The Champions League Final Four is literally coming home! The passion of Polish fans is exceptional—both at national team matches and elite club games. We expect a full house and unforgettable excitement all weekend long!”
