On October 11, Grzegorz Skawiński and Waldemar Tkaczyk will perform at Atlas Arena to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their artistic careers. The anniversary concert, “Królowie Życia” (Kings of Life), will be a musical journey through the most important stages of their shared journey—from Kombi, through Skawalker and O.N.A., all the way to the contemporary Kombii.
50 Years of Sharing a Musical Journey
Grzegorz Skawiński and Waldemar Tkaczyk met back in their school days, and their musical journey together has spanned five decades. This anniversary tour is an opportunity to revisit the various chapters of that story and the songs that have become an integral part of Polish music history.
The concert at Atlas Arena will feature songs associated with Kombi, Skawalker, O.N.A., and Kombii. However, it won’t be just a sentimental trip down memory lane. The organizers promise a concert full of guitar-driven energy, sing-alongs, and music that has evolved over the years while retaining its identity.
The concert in Łódź will be part of the nationwide tour “Kings of Life – Skawiński/Tkaczyk: 50 Years on Stage.” Michał Szpak will be the special guest at Atlas Arena.
