Friday, October 8 – 29th Central European Dental Exhibition (CEDE)

Dentists from all over Poland are coming to Łódź again!

They are returning to Łódź after a hiatus of several years. Dentists, dental technicians, dental hygienists, and dental assistants from across the country will meet with equipment manufacturers and distributors at Atlas Arena in October.

The Central European Dental Exhibition (CEDE), as the event is officially known, began in Łódź in 1991. For the Polish dental community, this event marked a milestone in its development. Practitioners from across Poland traveled to Łódź to equip their practices and gain knowledge through accompanying conferences and training sessions. CEDE in Łódź was successfully held annually until 2008. When the facilities available at that time became too small and limited the comfort of exhibitors and visitors, the organizers decided that CEDE would move to Poznań.

– Over the past few years, we’ve been considering a return to our roots, as our clients suggested. The city has changed, and there are now venues that allow us to organize trade shows. The coronavirus pandemic and the immense turmoil caused by the industry shutdown and the postponement of trade shows accelerated our decision. Importantly, the news was very well received by the dental community. We’re hoping for a full house at Atlas Arena on October 7–9,” explain the organizers from Exactus.

Around a hundred exhibitors will present their offerings at the fair, this time mainly from Poland. There will be no shortage of product launches whose postponement was forced by COVID-19. As is tradition, the trade fair will be accompanied by an educational program featuring panel discussions and workshops. Two networking events are also planned. A banquet, during which we will learn, among other things, the prestigious list of the most influential people in dentistry, will take place inside the Poznań Palace. The more casual event will be hosted by Łódź Kaliska.

The organizers expect several thousand dentists to visit Łódź from October 7–9. Many will take advantage of the city’s hotel accommodations and visit local restaurants and pubs. Exactus is also planning an educational project aimed at Łódź residents, but its implementation depends on the development of the epidemiological situation and any potential restrictions or limits.

This year's CEDE is being held under the honorary patronage of Hanna Zdanowska, Mayor of Łódź.
