The Provincial Police Day celebrations are just around the corner. As part of this event, the Łódź Police Department is organizing a family picnic for you under the slogan “SAFE SUMMER VACATION WITH THE POLICE.” A host of attractions and surprises await you. We can already reveal that the first edition of the 5 km race for the Provincial Police Commander’s Cup in Łódź will take place, as well as a companion race for children. Join us on July 13, 2024. The event is partnered by the Municipal Arena of Culture and Sport.
We invite everyone to a family picnic organized by the Provincial Police Headquarters in Łódź as part of the Provincial Police Day celebrations. The event, themed “SAFE SUMMER VACATION WITH THE POLICE,” will feature plenty of attractions for everyone who comes to visit us at ATLAS ARENA. We start at 10:00 a.m.
For the first time, we are pleased to invite you to this year’s edition of the 5-kilometer Run for the Provincial Police Commander’s Cup in Łódź. We have also prepared accompanying routes, specifically for children, covering distances of 500 and 1,000 meters. Anyone can participate in the race after registering in advance at this link. We encourage you to take part in these sporting challenges, which, in addition to testing your running abilities, will be great fun.
The family picnic will also be a great opportunity to talk about safety, which is our top priority. The summer vacation has begun, and with it comes a time for travel and various forms of recreation. Our increased efforts during this period will help ensure your safety, but it is your responsible behavior, adherence to regulations, and common sense that contribute to avoiding dangers and preserving beautiful vacation memories.
Come visit us and see an exhibition of law enforcement equipment, demonstrations of intervention tactics and techniques, take part in games, activities, and contests, and see what the police officers from the district units of the Łódź Garrison have prepared for you. At the recruitment booth, you’ll learn about the requirements for candidates wishing to join the Police. We’ll take a trip back in time so you can view an exhibition of vintage police cars.
The partners in this initiative are: the Provincial Executive Board of the Independent Self-Governing Trade Union of Police Officers in the Łódź Province and the Łódź Provincial Group of the IPA.
