Celine Dion cancels concerts

Canadian artist Celine Dion has finally canceled the entire Courage World Tour, including performances in Poland: in Lodz and Krakow. Refunds for tickets purchased for Celine Dion concerts will be processed by the ticket offices where the tickets were purchased.

Celine Dion was originally scheduled to perform in Poland on May 23 and 25, 2020. These plans were thwarted by the COVID-19 virus, and the concerts had to be rescheduled. Subsequently, the artist’s illness prevented her from carrying out her concert plans after the pandemic.

Celine Dion is being treated for a diagnosed illness that prevents her from performing on stage. The artist is working hard to recover, but at the moment she is unable to successfully prepare and go on tour.

The world tour was scheduled to begin on August 26 with a concert in Amsterdam and run through October 4 of this year, ending with a performance in Helsinki. The tour was then set to continue on March 6 in Prague, concluding on April 22, 2024, in London. The Polish concerts were scheduled for March 8 at Atlas Arena in Łódź and March 10 at TAURON Arena Kraków, and they, too, will not take place. The artist very much hopes that one day she will be able to visit all of these cities in Europe to perform for her fans.

- I am very sorry to disappoint you all again. I am really working hard to rebuild my strength, but touring can be very difficult, even if you are 100% prepared. It's not fair to you to keep postponing concerts, and although it breaks my heart, it's best if we cancel them all now, until I'm really ready to perform on stage again. I want you all to know that I'm not giving up... and I can't wait to see you all again! - Celine Dion tells fans.

The singer performed at the first 52 concerts of the Courage World Tour in North America before the pandemic struck and brought subsequent shows to a halt in March 2020. In early 2021, while the entertainment industry was still operating under strict COVID restrictions, Celine filmed her first movie, *Love Again*, starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Sam Heughan. Since then, Celine has revealed that she has been diagnosed with a rare condition called Stiff Person Syndrome, which causes severe and persistent muscle spasms. This makes it impossible for her to perform. Celine’s medical team continues to treat her.
