2019 is the year of the European volleyball championships, and in the men's EuroVolley, Poland, along with Slovakia and Hungary, acts as co-host of the tournament.
From August 23 to September 4 in Lodz's Atlas Arena the group stage and 1/8 and 1/4 finals of the competition for the title of Europe's best team will be played. Competing for it for the first time in history will be as many as 24 teams: Azerbaijan, Belgium, Belarus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Ukraine, Hungary, Italy and the defender of the title - Turkey.
In Lodz will be played all matches of Group B, which includes: Poland, Belgium, Portugal, Slovenia, Ukraine and Italy.
