COMA – The Army of the Wasted | 20th Anniversary of the Album “The Wasted Forces of the Great Army of Holy Signs”

In 2006, an album was released that became one of the most significant milestones in the history of Polish alternative rock.
“The Wasted Strength of a Great Army of Holy Signs” by the band COMA is a story about a crisis of faith, values, spiritual disintegration, and a world plunged into turmoil.
Twenty years later, this album returns to the scene in a unique, large-format edition.

On November 13, 2026, COMA will perform at Łódź’s Atlas Arena in what will be their only original concert event of 2026.
The band will perform their second album in its entirety, creating a show that will not be a sentimental return to the past, but a powerful confrontation with the present.

The Army of the Doomed – a special COMY concert in Łódź

“The squandered forces of the great army of sacred signs” are, two decades later, neither a relic of a bygone era nor a closed chapter in COMA’s discography.
On the contrary—today they sound like a poignantly timely diagnosis of the world: a world that is fractured, trembling, leaking, and in a state of turmoil.

The Army of the Lost is a concert spectacle steeped in the anxieties of the modern world.
At the heart of this story lie a crisis of faith, crumbling systems, social tensions, media chaos, and spiritual exhaustion.
The themes captured on the album twenty years ago resonate even more powerfully today.

Trickster, Inferno, and Multilayered Immersion

Our guide through this story will be the iconic figure from the album cover—Trickster.
He will lead the audience through the successive circles of a modern-day inferno, through a landscape where everything is burning: literally, symbolically, and emotionally.

The Army of the Wasted was conceived as a multi-layered immersive experience in which music, words, light, animations, and imagery merge into a single entity.
The concert will be divided into two acts. The first part will be entirely devoted to the album “The Wasted Forces of the Great Army of Holy Signs.”
The second will transport the audience into a completely different, surprising reality.

“We take the audience on a highly original, Com-style journey through the circles of a modern-day inferno—filtered through music, emotions, and art.
Just the way we like it. It will be a 2.5-hour story told through animations, images, and sounds—both familiar and unfamiliar.
