Registration for the 2024 DOZ Łódź Marathon is now open! The 12th edition promises to be exceptionally exciting, featuring the Polish Championships, the race for Olympic spots, and a run along a slightly modified, fast, and interesting course. These are just some of the highlights awaiting participants in the 2024 DOZ Łódź Marathon.
The DOZ Łódź Marathon is an event that will be particularly appealing in 2024, both from an organizational and a sporting perspective. Most importantly, Łódź will host the Polish Marathon Championships for both women and men.
– We are very committed to raising the prestige of the Polish Championships and ensuring that the competition for medals in our national championship is attractive to athletes in terms of the size of the financial bonuses; therefore, cash prizes will be awarded only in this category. In addition to the prize for the Polish Champion in both the women’s and men’s categories, there will be bonuses for breaking the event records, and these are set quite high—especially among women, since in 2013 Karolina Jarzyńska ran 2:26:45 here, which is only slightly slower than the Polish record. For the men, breaking the event record will require a time under 2 hours and 10 minutes.
Registration for the DOZ Łódź Marathon 2024 and for the accompanying events and races is available on the race website: www.lodzmaraton.pl. The children’s and youth races will take place on April 6, while the marathon and 10-kilometer race will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2024. The race office and EXPO will be open from April 5–7 and will be located at Atlas Arena.
