The Municipal Culture and Sports Arena and the Łódź Sports Modeling Foundation invite you to the first round of the XRS POLAND Series in remote-controlled model racing.
The XRS Poland racers compete in small RC cars, but this isn’t just a game—it’s a discipline that requires careful preparation, a cool head, and skills that are hard to master in just a few days. Victory depends on maneuverability, accuracy, and precision when navigating turns in vehicles that can reach speeds of up to 80 km/h on a straight stretch!
On the weekend of October 10–11, the top “drivers” from Poland and abroad will race on a specially prepared Dutch carpet track at Atlas Arena. With the event’s participants in mind, Atlas Arena will feature as many as three tracks: one main track—for professionals (on- and off-road)—where the first round of qualifiers for the XRS POLAND series in remote-controlled model racing will take place, and two tracks intended for everyone who decides to come cheer on the racers at Atlas Arena.
On the first track, “drivers” will compete in as many as nine categories, including two- and four-wheel-drive vehicles. The winner will be determined by the number of laps completed in five minutes. However, this does not mean that speed will be the only factor that counts. The track, prepared by the Łódź Sports Modeling Foundation, will primarily test the skills of the competing drivers.
The other two tracks will be used by visitors to Atlas Arena to learn how to drive. Visitors from Łódź will learn the ins and outs of operating the model, and the drift track will help them hone their skills, putting future racers to the test.
We invite everyone who would like to learn more about XRS Poland to join us on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Admission is free. Please use Entrance 1 on the lower level, next to the Ticket Center.
