James Blunt is set to perform at the Atlas Arena in Łódź!

James Blunt, hailed as one of the most authentic musicians in today’s pop scene, is back with a vengeance! The master of ballads and creator of the iconic “You’re Beautiful,” who has captivated Polish audiences time and again, will perform on May 29, 2022, at the Atlas Arena in Łódź. The Once Upon a Mind tour marks a long-awaited return to live music—both for James himself and for audiences eager for a concert experience. That’s why the May event in Łódź is sure to be an emotional blast! Tickets for the concert go on sale May 19, 2021.

James Blunt is an artist who needs no introduction. After all, who among us hasn’t been moved at least once by songs like “You’re Beautiful”—which has already surpassed 500 million views on YouTube—the timeless “Goodbye My Lover,” or the hit “Melody,” created in collaboration with Lost Frequency? There is no doubt that James Blunt—a naturally reserved Englishman and a former soldier who was stationed in Kosovo—channels all his sensitivity into his music. That is why, even after 15 years, his exceptionally authentic and uncompromising artistry continues to captivate. In the age of electronic and synthetic music, James consistently opts for acoustic sounds; during concerts, he always takes the stage with his guitar, and through his original songs, imbued with genuine emotion, he moves audiences.

“If it weren’t for James Blunt, there wouldn’t be an Ed Sheeran today, nor all those young people who sing while accompanying themselves on the guitar. He’s made music something you can hum along to again,” said music journalist Jerzy Skarzynski on the occasion of the artist’s recent concert in Gliwice.

The "Once Upon a Mind" tour, which will bring James to Poland, will feature the singer’s iconic hits as well as tracks from his latest album, which bring a new dimension to his sound. The artist himself admits that the songs from "Once Upon a Mind" are the most intimate he has ever written.

– After the song [Your Beautiful] (..) it was hard for me to keep writing in the same open way, because I didn’t like that so many people had insight into my private life. But now that some much more significant events have happened in my home, I can suddenly write in a completely unfiltered, open way again. “I DON’T FEEL LIKE I’M RETURNING TO THE MUSIC INDUSTRY; I FEEL LIKE I’M RETURNING TO MUSIC,” admits James Blunt when asked about the album Once Upon a Mind.

The May concert will therefore not only mark a long-awaited return to live music, but also one of the most intimate encounters with the artist. This is all the more true given that, during his last visit to our country, James was delighted by the Polish audience, their enthusiasm, and the fun they had during the concert.
