October 21, 2026 – Jean-Michel Jarre announced today “OXYGENE & BEYOND”—a major international project set to begin in Europe in the fall of 2027. The tour will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the album “Oxygene” and showcase music from the artist’s new album, which is scheduled for release in the spring of 2027.

The “OXYGENE & BEYOND” tour promises an extraordinary journey through Jarre’s own space and time—as well as a journey into a new era of creative experimentation.

In its first leg, the tour will visit cities across Europe, including London’s The O2 and Manchester’s Co-op Live, with subsequent concerts taking place in Katowice, Łódź, Gdańsk, Cluj-Napoca, Budapest, Berlin, Prague, Brussels, and Barcelona, as well as several nights in Amsterdam and Paris.

The “OXYGENE & BEYOND” concert tour will continue around the world through 2028.

Jean-Michel Jarre says: “This tour is both a celebration of where it all began and an invitation to imagine what comes next. The adventure continues.”

The tour announcement coincides with the Amsterdam Dance Event, during which Jarre will perform tonight as a guest of honor and kick off the 30th edition of the event with a sold-out, immersive concert titled*Oxygene & Beyond: A Sonic Journey Celebrating 30 Years of ADE*at AFAS Live. Organized by MOJO and Insomniac, the event will bring together tracks from various stages of the artist’s career in a unique immersive spectacle, enhanced with special elements created specifically for ADE.

Jarre’s program during ADE also includes three unique panel discussions as part of ADE Pro. They will explore the relationship between music, machines, and creativity, as well as artificial intelligence and technologies shaping the future.

OXYGENE & BEYOND is part of a special anniversary year celebrating the album that helped popularize electronic music around the world. On November 20, BMG will release a special edition of the album to mark its 50th anniversary. The release will feature a new stereo remaster from 2026, as well as mixes in Dolby Atmos and 5.1 formats, which allow listeners to experience the music in a more spatial, multidimensional way, with sound that surrounds them. The edition will be complemented by bonus material, rounding out this anniversary release.

On November 5, Thames & Hudson will also publish Jean-Michel Jarre’s book*MACHINES: A History of Electronic Music*, in which the artist explores the past, present, and future of electronic music, drawing on one of the world’s most important private collections of electronic and electroacoustic instruments. The book chronicles a century of sound experimentation, from analog synthesis through the digital revolution to immersive multimedia and AI-assisted creation.

Jarre is currently working on a new album, and details about the release will be announced soon. During the OXYGENE & BEYOND tour, the artist will perform some of the new material live for the first time.
