KSW returns to Łódź with the blockbuster fight between Pudzianowski and Kolecki!

The clash between these two powerhouses will take place on March 23 in the main event of KSW 47 in Łódź. At Atlas Arena, the strongest man on Earth, Mariusz Pudzianowski ( 12-6, 5 KO, 2 Sub), will face Szymon Kolecki (6-1, 6 KO), the gold medalist in weightlifting at the Beijing Olympics. For Mariusz Pudzianowski, this will be another clash with an Olympian. “The Dominator” already has a victory under his belt against the outstanding judoka, Atlanta Olympic gold medalist, and Polish combat sports legend Paweł Nastula. Szymon Kolecki will step into the KSW cage for the first time, but our outstanding weightlifter has already fought seven MMA bouts, six of which he won by first-round knockout!

In another of the evening’s main events, two fighters who were originally scheduled to face off at KSW 41 will finally meet, after an injury to one of them derailed KSW’s plans at the time. At KSW 47, top welterweight fighters and two former champions of the division will cross gloves: Borys Mankowski ( 19-7-1, 3 KO, 7 Sub) and Dricus du Plessis (12-2, 4 KO, 8 Sub). Borys Mankowski returns to the cage after the toughest moment in his career, which has spanned over 8 years in Europe’s largest MMA organization. Meanwhile, the South African will step into the cage immediately after losing his title to Roberto Soldic. This matchup may give fans an answer as to who will be the next contender for the 77-kilogram title.

At Atlas Arena, we’ll also see a strong lineup of local fighters. The first fighter announced is Bartłomiej Kopera ( 9-4, 7 submissions), who will be looking to secure his first KSW victory. More names will be announced in the coming days.
