Following the release of their MTV Unplugged album, the legendary Polish band LADY PANK is embarking on a concert tour under the same banner. The MTV Unplugged tour will be divided into two parts—spring and fall—and will cover the entire country. The band will perform at Atlas Arena on April 1, 2023.
Lady Pank is the 12th Polish artist invited to participate in this iconic series. With a history spanning over 40 years, the "MTV Unplugged" concert is packed with iconic hits, which this time were presented in new, unconventional arrangements. Scheduled for 2023, Lady Pank’s MTV Unplugged tour will feature the original visual design known from the premiere concert, which took place in June 2022.
In addition to the group’s core members, Jan Borysewicz and Janusz Panasewicz, the concerts will feature the regular rhythm section—Kuba Jablonski and Krzysztof Kieliszkiewicz—as well as session musicians accompanying the band: Wojtek Olszak (piano), Marcin Nowakowski (saxophones), and Michał Sitarski (guitar). The album also features guest appearances by Piotr Cugowski, Tomasz Organek, the outstanding jazz musician Bernard Masela (vibraphone, kalimba), and the cello duo Cello Brothers.
