On December 4, the world’s best riders will face off at the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship in Łódź! Preparations at Atlas Arena are in full swing, and after a long hiatus, the world’s best riders are eagerly awaiting their first indoor race in nearly two years.
The round in Łódź will mark the start of the battle for the 2022 SuperEnduro World Championship title. It’s no surprise that, after such a long hiatus and with the championship title once again on the line, the world’s top riders can’t wait to get the competition underway.
At Atlas Arena, we will of course see Tadeusz Blazusiak at the starting line, who remains the most decorated rider to date, with six World Championship gold medals to his name. Joining Taddy at the starting gate will be, among others: the reigning SuperEnduro World Champion and 2021 Hard Enduro World Champion – Billy Bolt; three-time SuperEnduro World Champion and the rider who this season tied Taddy’s record for the number of championship titles (5) in AMA EnduroCross (American SuperEnduro Championship)— Colton Haaker, and the 2021 AMA Extreme Enduro runner-up and 2018 SuperEnduro World Champion Cody Webb. They will be joined by: 2019 WESS champion Manuel Lettenbichler, multiple winner of the world’s toughest races Jonny Walker, and the talented Spaniard Pol Tarres.
Of course, the starting list will feature a strong Polish contingent. In the Junior class, Dominik Olszowy will be competing for the top spots, while Oskar Kaczmarczyk will be competing in the European Cup. Also lining up at the starting gates atAtlas Arena will be, among others: Kacper Baklarz, Kacper Dudzic, Grzegorz Kargul, Hubert Hyla, and Szymon Kus.
The gates of Atlas Arena open on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. Starting at that time, you’ll be able to explore the wide range of exhibitors, including Diverse and the Diverse Extreme Team, Nissan Auto-Łódź, and Leatt Protective, as well as check out the latest collection of 111 motorcycle apparel, designed by Tadek Blazusiak. The event will kick off with a thrilling show featuring fire and special effects, which will really heat up the atmosphere before the big race.
A decade after the first Polish round of the SuperEnduro World Championship in 2011, history comes full circle and the series returns to Łódź. Atlas Arena will once again be transformed into an extreme track that will put riders and their machines to the test. Huge boulders, tires, logs, and thousands of tons of dirt will make the competition incredibly fierce and spectacular.
The last remaining spots from the limited pool of tickets for the paddock and practice sessions are still available. For the biggest SuperEnduro fans, this is a unique opportunity to spend a day filled with championship-level excitement, consisting of: a morning practice session, an afternoon visit to the riders’ paddock, and the main evening event.
