The legendary musical "Metro" is a hallmark of Studio Buffo's repertoire. On stage, we see passion and enthusiasm, dancing and singing, the likes of which the Polish theater has never known. There is love, madness and youth. And all this makes the boundary between theater and reality fluid, and the action of the show seems to go far beyond the theater foyer, and time becomes solely a function of imagination.
"Metro" - somewhere between fiction and reality. Street players, singers and dancers put on a show for passengers on underground subway platforms. Its creator and entertainer is John, for whom the subway is home and the underground is a way of life. The performance creates a sensation, and the young artists are offered a job in a commercial theater. It is a story of dreams and disappointments, of passion and betrayal, of youthful ideals and the power of money, and above all it is a story of romantic love.
