After an outstanding two-game series against Zenit St. Petersburg, PGE Skra advanced to the semifinals of the elite Champions League. Now, the Polish champions will face Cucine Lube Civitanova, the Italian runners-up. The first match against the Italian powerhouse will take place on April 3 at 6:00 p.m. at Atlas Arena. It is a four-time Italian champion (2006, 2012, 2014, 2017), which has also won the Champions League title (2002) and is the current club runner-up in the World Championship. Its roster includes such renowned players as Osmany Juantorena, Tsvetan Sokolov, Yoandy Leal, Robertolandy Simon, and Bruno Rezende.
