The Municipal Culture and Sports Arena and the Łódź Sports Modeling Foundation invite you to the Race Stars Contest 2020.
The competitors in the Race Stars Contest race RC models, but this isn’t just for fun—it’s a discipline that requires careful preparation, a cool head, and skills that are hard to master in just a few days. Victory is determined by maneuverability, accuracy, and precision when navigating turns with vehicles that can reach speeds of up to 80 km/h on a straight stretch!
On the weekend of December 19–20, at Atlas Arena, the top “drivers” from Poland and abroad will race on a specially prepared 950-square-meter track. They will compete in as many as eight categories, including two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive vehicles. The winner will be determined by the number of laps completed in five minutes. However, this does not mean that speed alone will count. The track, prepared by the Łódź Sports Modeling Foundation, will primarily test the skills of the competing drivers.
