Together with Ukraine - a unique charity concert
On March 20, a special charity concert will take place in Łódź, with the aim of raising as much money as possible to help the people of Ukraine. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Polska Akcja Humanitarna, which is carrying out extensive relief efforts. Both Polish and Ukrainian artists will perform on the stage of Atlas Arena. The concert “Together with Ukraine” at Łódź’s Atlas Arena will feature the biggest stars of the Polish and Ukrainian music scenes. Among them are Vito Bambino, Zalewski, Igo, Daria Zawialow, Stanislaw Soyka, Anita Lipnicka, Kayah, Natalia Przybysz, Maciej Musialowski, Tomasz Zietek, Tina Karol, Dagadana, Jerry Heil, and Daria Psekho. The evening’s repertoire features contemporary songs as well as those that have already secured a permanent place in the history of Polish and Ukrainian music. Prominent Polish actors have also joined the project—including Maja Komorowska, Danuta Stenka, Vanessa Aleksander, and Andrzej Seweryn—who will complement the musical part of the event with their performances.
“Together with Ukraine” is a special musical event organized as a gesture of solidarity with those fleeing the war. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Polish Humanitarian Action, which has been conducting an ongoing mission in Ukraine since 2014. The minimum donation ticket price is 20 PLN. During the concert, attendees will be able to send special text messages, which will also contribute to the fundraiser.
All the artists involved in the project have waived their fees. The concert’s musical director is Wojciech Urbanski—a composer and producer who has written music for films, TV series, and radio plays. The concept for the event is being developed in consultation with Anna Stavychenko, Director of the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra, who is currently residing in Poland. The ensemble and the choir accompanying the performances on stage will feature Polish and Ukrainian performers. The project is also being carried out in collaboration with the Polish Theater in Warsaw.
The event is organized by the Follow The Step agency. The television partner is TVN Discovery Group. The concert will be broadcast on TVN and on Player on March 20 at 8:00 p.m.
