The legendary band Smokie in Łódź! Concert at Sport Arena on September 26, 2026

A global rock legend and a phenomenon of the 1970s is returning to Poland. Smokie will perform on September 26, 2026, at the Sport Arena in Łódź as part of their “50 Years of Music” tour, celebrating the band’s more than half a century of activity.

This will be one of the band’s two concerts in Poland—alongside the one in Katowice—and a unique opportunity to hear live the greatest hits that have left an indelible mark on the history of popular music. The setlist will include such hits as “Living Next Door to Alice,” “I’ll Meet You at Midnight,” “If You Think You Know How to Love Me,” “Lay Back in the Arms of Someone,” “Rose-A-Lee,” and “Oh Carol.”

The anniversary tour is not just a nostalgic trip down memory lane, but a full-scale, high-energy show that proves Smokie are still one of the world’s leading soft-rock bands.

50 years on stage

The band’s history dates back to 1975, when—still under the name Smokey—they released their debut album, *Pass It Around*. That same year also saw the release of the album “Changing All the Time,” which featured the band’s first major hits, including “Don’t Play Your Rock ‘n’ Roll to Me” and “If You Think You Know How to Love Me.”

Over the course of the following decades, Smokie released 21 studio albums and sold millions of records worldwide. Their discography includes both original hits and fresh takes on classics such as “Needles and Pins” and “Have You Ever Seen the Rain.”

The band's latest studio album, *Take a Minute*, was released in 2010. Since then, the group has focused on touring, performing regularly for audiences across Europe.

Smokie today

Over the course of their more than 50-year career, the band’s lineup has changed. Following Terry Uttley’s death in 2021, Luke Bullard joined the band. Currently, Smokie consists of Mick McConnell, Martin Bullard, Steve Pinnell, and Pete Lincoln.

“Smokie and Terry’s legacy will live on, and we can’t wait to see you all as we continue our journey. As the saying goes, ‘there’s no smoke without fire,’ and Smokie are still running at full throttle!” the musicians announce.

Łódź on the Trail of Legends

Smokie’s performance at Sport Arena will be one of the few opportunities to see the band live in Poland as part of their anniversary tour. The concert in Łódź promises to be an evening filled with their greatest hits and the band’s signature sound, which has been drawing audiences of all ages for years.
