Following a series of sold-out concerts and rave reviews in Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, South America, and beyond, 17-time GRAMMY Award winner STING has announced four additional“STING 3.0” concerts in Poland. These newly added events are part of the acclaimed European leg of the tour, organized by Cherrytree Music Company and Live Nation.
Together with longtime guitarist Dominik Miller and the energetic drummer Chris Maas (Mumford & Sons, Maggie Rogers), Sting reinterprets his most beloved hits, transforming each one into a concise, energetic composition performed by the trio that fully harnesses the power of his voice and his talent as a songwriter.
The Polish leg of the tour will begin on June 6 at PreZero Arena Gliwice, followed by a concert the next day at ERGO ARENA in Gdańsk. After a one-day break, Sting and his band will return to the stage on June 9 at TAURON Arena Kraków. The artist will conclude the Polish leg of the tour on June 10 at Atlas Arena in Łódź.
Sting, an outstanding artist both as a soloist and as the frontman, bassist, and principal lyricist of The Police, is constantly redefining and expanding his musical horizons. Under the guidance of Martin Kierszenbaum of Cherrytree Music Company, his innovative spirit remains central to the“STING 3.0”tour, which focuses on fresh, creative interpretations of his timeless repertoire and served as the inspiration for his latest single,“I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart)” —mixed by four-time GRAMMY Award-winning sound engineer Robert Orton and released by Cherrytree Music Company/Interscope Records. In addition, the new live album,“STING 3.0 LIVE,”is now available digitally, on CD, and on 180g vinyl. Also recorded during the“STING 3.0”tour, the album“STING 3.0 LIVE” is a collection of his greatest hits, including the song“Be Still My Beating Heart,” a live version of which has never been released before. This 10-track digital album also features a live recording of“Fragile”—Sting’s 1987 single, which was recently performed by a children’s choir in an episode of the Netflix miniseries “Adolescence.”
