SUM 41 at Atlas Arena!

After a career spanning nearly 30 years, the iconic band SUM 41 is embarking on a farewell tour of Europe—and Poland is on the itinerary! The Canadians will perform on November 9, 2024, at the Atlas Arena in Łódź to say goodbye to their local fans and play their greatest hits, interspersed with tracks from their latest album, “Heaven :x: Hell,” released this March via Rise Records. The special guest at the concert in Łódź will be the Welsh pop-punk star who has been winning over fans’ hearts and securing spots on the lineups of the world’s biggest festivals for several years now: Neck Deep.

Rock fans need no introduction to Sum 41. Early 21st-century anthems like “Fat Lip,” “In Too Deep,” and “Still Waiting” were the classic soundtracks of MTV junkies, hardcore skateboarders, and, above all, ordinary teenagers. As the years went by, the Canadians remained at the peak of their popularity, conquering the stages of the biggest festivals in the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia, while leaving an indelible mark on popular culture. Their music served as the soundtrack to major box-office hits ranging from Spider-Man, through American Pie, all the way to Bring It On.

Sum 41 has released a total of eight studio albums throughout their career. Their discography begins with a trilogy of classic albums: the platinum-certified “All Killer No Filler” [2001], the gold-certified “Does This Look Infected?” [2002], and the gold-certified “Chuck” [2004]. Their remarkable body of work concludes with this year’s release, “Heaven :x: Hell,” which only proves that despite their decision to end their career, the musicians are by no means resting on the laurels of the popularity they gained in the early stages of their career, but are instead cementing it.

After selling 15 million albums worldwide, winning two Juno Awards, a Kerrang! Award, and several Alternative Press Music Awards, earning a GRAMMY® nomination, and selling out concert venues around the globe, they’re going out with a bang—and on their own terms! November 9 in Łódź will be the last chance to see the band in action in Poland, so if you want to embark on this extraordinary trip down memory lane, dust off your skateboard, put on some baggy pants, and come sing along with the whole crowd to the true rock anthems of the early 2000s!

The special guests on Sum 41’s farewell tour will be the Welsh band Neck Deep, whose energy sets the biggest club and festival stages ablaze. Led by the charismatic Ben Barlow, the band first made their mark on listeners in 2014 with the album “Wishful Thinking,” which fans instantly loved—as evidenced by their win at the Kerrang! Awards in the “Best British Newcomer” category. After another two years of hard work and the release of their next studio album, Neck Deep added an Alternative Press Music Award in the “Best Live Band” category to their trophy case. Today, 12 years after the band’s formation, Ben Barlow and company are now well-established artists with five full-length albums to their credit, and their music continues to entertain and surprise just as much as ever. They’ve never hidden their fascination with bands like Sum 41, Fall Out Boy, A Day To Remember, Green Day, or Blink-182, and it seems that Neck Deep, like few other bands from this new wave of pop-punk, can draw so perfectly from each of these giants while wrapping it all in their own style—at times sentimental and romantic, but far more often buzzing with energy straight from Wrexham. The band’s latest album, simply titled “Neck Deep,” is a return to their roots, despite the fact that their massive success across the pond could have signaled a shift toward a very commercial direction. If you’ve never seen them live before, don’t be late to Łódź’s Atlas Arena, because the Welshmen are going to heat the venue up to red-hot!
