Basketball fans, get ready for a major sporting event. The 11th edition of this unique event is fast approaching, during which a team led by Marcin Gortat will face off against a real army. So far,
The team faced off against the Polish Army, and after 10 matches, the score is tied at 5-5, which makes this year’s edition special—both teams will battle it out for the title of leader in the competition so far! An added bonus confirming the uniqueness of this edition is that this year, the Polish Army team will be replaced by a NATO team!
To mark the 25th anniversary of Poland’s accession to this international defense organization, Marcin and the foundation invited soldiers from various countries—who are stationed in Poland on a daily basis and safeguard our security—to join the fun. We all know how seriously those associated with the military approach their duties, so we can expect the NATO team to field the best of the best from their ranks! We can expect the same from the other team, Marcin Gortat’s team. This has always been a team composed of the greatest talents in their respective fields, and this time will be no different. And what if half of them are stepping onto a basketball court for the first time? No problem! Any gaps in their training will be made up for by incredible ambition and a fighting spirit, because after all, everyone is fighting for a prestigious victory!
Ticket prices in the stands range from 10 PLN to 120 PLN. Discounted tickets are available for children up to 12 years of age (born between 2012 and 2024). Tickets for people with disabilities in wheelchairs accompanied by a caregiver cost 5 PLN.
