September 19, 2025 – The 36th International Comics and Games Festival is just a week away at Atlas Arena!

On September 27–28, 2025, Atlas Arena in Łódź will become a hub of pop culture, hosting the 36th edition of the International Comics and Games Festival. This is the largest event of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe and will take place at three MAKiS venues: Atlas Arena, Sport Arena, and, for the first time, the Władysław Król Municipal Stadium.

The program includes meetings with creators, book launches, exhibitions, gaming zones, and comic book fairs, which attract thousands of participants from across the country and beyond every year.

As always, the event’s program is exceptionally rich and diverse. It will feature meetings with comic book artists, writers, and publishers, including legends such as Kim Jung Gi, Milo Manara, Stan Sakai, and Jim Lee, who have appeared over the years. Fans of computer, console, and board games will be able to compete in tournaments and discover new releases prepared by creators and publishers, while the exhibition area will feature the latest comic book releases, merchandise, and professional equipment for graphic artists. Comic book contests are also a key element of the festival, including Poland’s most prestigious contest for comic book design, whose winner receives the prestigious Grand Prix statuette. These are accompanied by numerous exhibitions across various locations in Łódź, drawing and scriptwriting workshops, as well as attractions aimed at fans of manga, anime, and Star Wars. An integral part of the festival remains the colorful cosplay contest, which draws huge crowds every year. It promises to be another unforgettable weekend in Łódź!

The event is organized by EC1 Łódź – City of Culture and the “Contur” Artists’ Association, and the festival is made possible thanks to the support of the City of Łódź and the main sponsor, the Atlas Group.
