Atlas Arena has joined Arenas Europe—an international network bringing together the operators of 49 arenas from 21 countries. The Łódź venue is the fourth Polish arena to join the network. Membership opens up new opportunities to exchange experiences, collaborate with European partners, and participate in discussions about the future of the live events industry.
Cross-Border Cooperation
Arenas Europe brings together venue operators from across Europe who work together to develop the live events industry and share knowledge and best practices. Atlas Arena’s joining the network offers an opportunity to exchange experiences with other arenas and participate in discussions regarding event organization, concert production, and the development of multipurpose venues.
– Joining Arenas Europe is an important step for Atlas Arena. We want to learn from our partners across Europe and share our own experience, both in modernizing the venue without closing it and in building strong partnerships with the city. By exchanging practical knowledge and ideas, we can create better experiences for artists, promoters, and audiences. “We’re delighted to be part of this community,” says Maciej Łaski, president of Atlas Arena.
Łódź on the European events map
Atlas Arena’s participation in Arenas Europe strengthens its position within the international industry community. It also provides an opportunity to highlight Łódź’s role in discussions about concert tours, the organization of large-scale productions, and trends in the live events market.
“We are delighted to welcome Atlas Arena to Arenas Europe. The four leading Polish arenas in our network strengthen the association’s presence in one of Europe’s fastest-growing live events markets. Atlas Arena brings valuable experience and ambition to our community,” emphasizes Robert Fitzpatrick, president of Arenas Europe.
Experience and Development in Practice
Atlas Arena has been in operation since 2009 and regularly hosts international concert tours, sporting events, and large-scale productions. The venue can seat up to 14,728 people, and its floor area is 3,500 m². More than 100 events are held here each year.
Atlas Arena’s experience extends beyond event organization to include infrastructure development and facility modernization while ensuring business continuity. Recent projects have included, among other things, artists’ dressing rooms, coat check areas, and over 1,000 m² of warm-up space.
Arenas Europe, formerly known as the European Arenas Association, will celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2026. The organization also supports the industry’s development through educational initiatives, including a partnership with the Ulster University Business School.
Atlas Arena’s joining this community marks another step in the venue’s development and provides an opportunity to actively participate in the exchange of knowledge that is shaping the future of the European live events market.
