On October 1 and 2, representatives of the music industry, event organizers, experts, and representatives of the ticketing market will gather in Warsaw. The “Polish Music Day 2026” conference will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss the challenges facing the concert market, and explore the role of music in the development of cities and regions.
Among the participants will be Maciej Łaski, president of Atlas Arena. Attending industry events is an opportunity to share experiences in organizing major concerts and shows, learn about the perspectives of other market participants, and draw inspiration that can support the further development of the Łódź arena.

The Economics of Concerts: What Do Cities Gain?
One of the items on the conference agenda will be a panel discussion titled “The Economics of Concerts.”
The discussion will focus on the economic and reputational significance of music events. Concerts attract audiences not only from the immediate vicinity but also from other regions and abroad, generating additional business for hotels, restaurants, transportation, and local services. Panel participants will discuss how to measure these benefits, use data to attract sponsors, and foster public understanding of the value of investing in culture and music events.
The discussion is scheduled for Thursday, October 1, from 3:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. The meeting will be moderated by Jacek Cieślak of *Rzeczpospolita*, and the participants will include:

Polish Music Day—More Than Just a Conference
The conference is part of the nationwide “Polish Music Day” campaign, which involves nearly 100 radio stations, streaming services, ticketing platforms, music stores, and cultural institutions. The initiative promotes Polish artists and encourages people to discover Polish music.
The event will take place on October 1 at the Labo Hall of the Institute of Creative Industries at 34 Chodakowska Street in Warsaw.
