Atlas Arena will play an active role in the first edition of the Effect MICE Festival —a new event in Poland’s meetings industry, scheduled for April 21. The venue will showcase its capabilities as a multifunctional event space, combining the production of major spectacles with the hosting of business and conference events.
However, Atlas Arena’s involvement in the event will not be limited to simply attending the festival. Industry representatives—participants in the Hosted Buyers program—will visit Łódź as early as April 19 to see firsthand how the venue operates during the event.
The event at Atlas Arena will be a comprehensive experience combining networking, hospitality, and participation in a large-scale stage production. The program includes dinner in the VIP area, followed by a concert by Alphaville, who will be performing at the venue that evening.
The concert by this legendary band, celebrating the 40th anniversary of their hit “Forever Young,” will be one of the most significant musical events of this spring in Łódź. The multimedia spectacle will also serve as a practical demonstration of how the venue operates during major entertainment events.
This event format will allow participants to see how Atlas Arena bridges the worlds of entertainment and business—by providing a venue for conferences, galas, and special events, often held concurrently with concerts of international scale. At the same time, the full range of facilities managed by MAKiS will be presented—including Sport Arena, Władysław Król Municipal Stadium, the stadium on Piłsudskiego Avenue, and Moto Arena. This complex of diverse spaces—ranging from performance halls and stadiums to conference facilities and business boxes—enables the hosting of events of varying scales and types, from business meetings and conferences to major sports and entertainment events.
The Effect MICE Festival is a nationwide event aimed at representatives of the events industry, agencies, corporations, and service providers for the MICE sector. The program includes, among other things, a silent-stage conference, an expo area, networking events, and a Hosted Buyers program, where key decision-makers meet directly with business partners.
Atlas Arena’s participation in the festival and the organization of a related event in Łódź directly contribute to the growth of the city’s events market. This presents an opportunity to attract new concerts, sporting events, and business conferences, which generate tangible benefits for the local economy—from the hospitality and food service industries to transportation and services. In the long term, this also means greater access to events for residents and strengthens Łódź’s position as one of Poland’s key event hubs.
