With over 1,500 participants, 110 industry experts, dozens of debates and presentations, and an extensive EXPO zone, the 11th Sport Biznes Polska Congress, taking place today (March 31, 2026) in Warsaw, is one of the most important events bringing together the sports and business communities in Poland.
Atlas Arena has been named a finalist in the top three of the Sport Biznes Polska 2025 Awards in the Sports Facility category. During the MAKiS congress, Atlas Arena will be represented by Maciej Łaski, the company’s president and the facility’s CEO, who will participate in a panel discussion titled “Investing in technology—a necessary expense or part of a long-term development strategy for a sports facility?”

The fact that the Łódź arena is among the top three nominees confirms the high quality of the initiatives carried out by one of Poland’s most important sports and entertainment venues and recognizes its contribution to the development of the sports and business market. It is also the result of consistent
the development strategy being implemented, the diversity of events organized, and the growing prominence of Atlas Arena among the country’s leading venues.
Last year was a busy one for the venue—Atlas Arena hosted events of national and international significance, expanding its offerings to combine sports, entertainment, and business.
“Being nominated for the final three is an important sign for us that we’re on the right track. Today, Atlas Arena is not just an event venue, but a comprehensive tool that supports the development of the sports and business market,” says Maciej Łaski.
The congress will feature the 5th Sport Biznes Polska Gala, during which the winners of the Sport Biznes Polska awards will be announced. This year’s edition of the competition attracted a record number of entries, representing the full spectrum of the market—from sponsors and sports federations, through clubs and event organizers, to sports facilities and local government entities. The finalists were selected based on the quality of their projects and their tangible impact on the industry’s development.
We view Atlas Arena’s selection as a finalist in the Sport Biznes Polska Awards in the “Sports Facility 2025” category as a significant honor and confirmation that the initiatives we’ve undertaken in recent years are being recognized by the industry. Last year was one of the most dynamic in the arena’s history—Atlas Arena hosted approximately 100 events, including 18 sporting events, and the venue welcomed nearly one million spectators.
The venue’s inclusion among the award finalists was undoubtedly due to the scale and quality of the sporting events held there, which in recent years have drawn audiences from across Poland and abroad. In 2025, Atlas Arena hosted international events such as the CEV Champions League Volley Final Four, the 2025 FIVB Women’s Volleyball Nations League, the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, the Polish Handball Super Cup, and the ORLEN Cup athletics meet. The Polish and Brazilian men’s national volleyball teams also played a friendly match here. The organization of such events was made possible by replacing the arena’s lighting system with one adapted to international standards for sports and entertainment broadcasts.
From the management’s perspective, this was a period of intense activity and further consolidation of the venue’s position in the market for major events in Poland. Atlas Arena remains a venue for major concerts and prestigious sporting events, while also evolving into a modern event space capable of hosting productions on an ever-larger scale.
