November 18, 2025 – BIO-GEN celebrates 35 years of innovation – at Atlas Arena

The year 2025 is a special one for BIO-GEN. It marks exactly 35 years since the company was founded; what began as a small laboratory in Opole has grown into one of the most important and dynamic biotechnology companies in Poland. Thanks to Jarosław Peczka’s consistency, vision, and determination, BIO-GEN has been shaping the market for modern agricultural biopreparations for years, combining advanced science with practical application and global trends in environmental management.

From the first probiotics introduced to the market in 1992 to today’s solutions used in agriculture, the company has consistently focused on innovation, research, and bold technological decisions. As its infrastructure expanded, BIO-GEN moved its headquarters first to Namysłów and then to Łódź, where—surrounded by strong scientific communities—modern laboratories and bioreactors were established.

During the anniversary gala at Atlas Arena, Łódź Mayor Hanna Zdanowska highlighted the company’s role in shaping the city’s innovative image:

“Today we are celebrating the 35th anniversary of BIO-GEN—a company that perfectly carries on Łódź’s tradition of creative industry. I am delighted that BIO-GEN’s modern laboratories, bioreactors, and innovation center are thriving right here in our city,” – said the mayor.

One of the most distinctive aspects of BIO-GEN’s branding efforts has been its partnership with Krzysztof Hołowczyc—a legend of off-road rallying and one of the most recognizable figures in global motorsports.

The partnership began several years ago, and its hallmark has become the team’s participation under the AzotoPower banner—the company’s flagship bio-product—in the world’s most demanding cross-country events, including the famous Dakar Rally.

This unexpected partnership between biotechnology and motorsports has proven to be a strategic move. It has demonstrated that BIO-GEN is a dynamic, ambitious brand, ready to push the boundaries of the industry and build associations with endurance, determination, and technological superiority—values shared by both laboratories and the desert trails of the Dakar Rally.

Jarosław Peczka himself often emphasizes how inspiring it is to work with such an outstanding athlete:
“When we started out, hardly anyone believed that microorganisms could transform agriculture. We focused on science, consistency, and innovation—and these are the very things that have been driving us forward for 35 years,” says Peczka.

Hołowczyc, a globally recognized figure, has become an ambassador for a technology associated with resilience and unparalleled effectiveness. The collaboration between these two worlds—sports and biotechnology—has captured the attention of audiences who previously had no exposure to agricultural products. This is an example of synergy that builds brand equity not only among farmers but also among the general public.

Given the challenges facing modern agriculture—reduced inputs, soil conservation, and sustainable resource management—BIO-GEN’s solutions take on particular significance. The company offers dozens of products, the most well-known of which are:

  • AzotoPower – fixes atmospheric nitrogen and makes it available to plants, reducing the need for mineral fertilizers.
  • FosfoPower – activates hard-to-reach phosphorus in the soil.
  • Rewital PRO+ – accelerates the decomposition of crop residues and improves soil structure.

These products are designed to address current trends in agriculture, helping farmers increase their yields while protecting the environment.

For over two decades, BIO-GEN has been involved in social initiatives, particularly in supporting the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. The company has repeatedly won auctions for Golden Hearts—including numbers 1 and 2—becoming one of the most committed partners of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity in the technology sector.

The Mayor of Łódź highlighted this aspect during the anniversary celebration:
“BIO-GEN is a company with a big heart. For over two decades, you have consistently supported the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, demonstrating that business can be responsible and empathetic ,” she emphasized.

CSR is an integral part of the company’s strategy—ranging from education and support for local governments to charitable and environmental initiatives.

Another key area of growth is Bio-Lider, a company founded by Jarosław Peczka and Robert Lewandowski. The combination of biotechnology expertise with the image and energy of one of the world’s most recognizable athletes has brought the brand global recognition and accelerated the commercialization of innovative projects.

To celebrate its anniversary, BIO-GEN has launched one of the largest promotional campaigns in the industry’s history: a sweepstakes with a Ferrari 296 GTS as the grand prize. The process is simple: purchase eligible products, register your receipt, and enter the prize drawing throughout 2025.

This type of initiative is unprecedented in the biopreparations market—it is a gesture of gratitude toward customers and partners who have helped build the company’s reputation over the years.

BIO-GEN has announced further investments in biotechnology, the development of agricultural products, and the expansion of its presence in foreign markets. The company plans to expand its operations in the areas of water protection, animal welfare, and environmental restoration.

The anniversary event at Atlas Arena featuring Jerzy Owsiak, Krzysztof Hołowczyc, Robert Lewandowski, Michał Żebrowski, and others—served as a symbolic summary of the company’s achievements to date and a preview of its future expansion.
