An Active Summer in Łódź. Green Łódź Invites You to Its Parks
The beautiful weather is perfect for outdoor activities. Zielona Łódź has put together a wide range of activities for residents, including walks, bike rides, yoga, outdoor concerts, running sessions, slow jogging, tai chi, and exercise and rehabilitation classes for seniors.
Activities in Łódź's parks
The program includes regular guided walks and bike tours, which take place on Sundays at 12:00 p.m. in various parks. A 12-hour night walk is also scheduled for June 27–28.
Those who prefer more relaxed forms of exercise can take part in yoga classes at several locations. Classes are held in Podolski Park on Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. from May 23 to August 29, in Źródliska Park on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. in July and August, in Park na Zdrowiu on Sundays at 1:00 p.m. in July and August, and in Julianowski Park on select Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.
The program also includes running sessions at Uroczysko Lublinek and Baden-Powell Park, slow jogging at Julianowski Park, self-defense classes for women at Widzewska Górka Park, and tai chi at Źródliska Park.

Concerts and Special Events
There will also be cultural and outdoor events this summer. The Summer Concerts in the Gazebo at Źródliska Park are scheduled for Sundays at 5:00 p.m. from July 5 to August 23.
The Botanical Garden will host two evening events: Midsummer Night on June 20 at 10:00 p.m. and the Night of the Shooting Stars on August 12 at 9:00 p.m.
Classes for seniors
From June through September, there will also be exercise and rehabilitation classes for seniors. The sessions are scheduled to take place at the street workout areas in Podolski Park, Abramowski Park, Szarych Szeregów Park, and in the park on Jesionowa Street.
Classes will be held mainly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, in the morning and early afternoon. A detailed schedule is available in the Zielona Łódź materials.
