On June 14, 2025, Atlas Arena will host another unique sporting event—the Gortat Team vs. NATO Team All-Star Game. This year, the match, which will take place at Łódź’s Atlas Arena at 5:00 p.m., will bring together stars from various fields, including actors, athletes, YouTubers, and soldiers. Proceeds from the event will go toward the statutory goals of the Marcin Gortat MG13 Foundation, which supports children and youth.
The Gortat Team vs. NATO Team Showdown is more than just a basketball game. It’s an exciting event that combines sports with a charitable cause. This year, the organizers have prepared many attractions for both younger and older fans. Once again, before the game starts, starting at 12:00 p.m., there will be an exhibition of military equipment in front of Atlas Arena, and a parade of the Gortat Team will take place on Piotrkowska Street, giving fans the chance to see the stars up close.
“I’m really excited that, once again, my MG13 Foundation and I will be organizing the Gortat Team vs. NATO Team All-Star Game in my hometown of Łódź. This is a special moment for me because, even though I’ve retired from sports, I still see tremendous interest in this event. Last year, we managed to sell out all the tickets, which was a huge honor for me. I hope that this year we’ll repeat that success and once again put on an unforgettable show. What’s more, this year soldiers from the Special Forces will join the NATO team, which will add an extra twist to this matchup. We’re counting on passionate cheering and a great atmosphere!” says Marcin Gortat, the event organizer and founder of the MG13 Foundation.
The Big Match between Team Gortat and Team NATO is a unique opportunity to see athletes, soldiers, and celebrities come together in one of the most thrilling sporting showdowns. This year, Marcin Gortat’s team will be joined by newcomers: Jakub Błaszczykowski and two renowned actors—Piotr Adamczyk and Wojciech Mecwaldowski.
Since the event began in 2012, the Gortat Team has won six times, while the NATO Team has won four times. In 2025, the NATO Team will be joined by Special Forces, which is sure to ramp up the intensity of the match.
Tickets for the event are now available, and the proceeds from ticket sales will go toward the statutory goals of the Marcin Gortat MG13 Foundation, including support for talented young athletes.
