July 14, 2026 - How can I get to the Łódź Summer Festival efficiently and safely?

Everything you need to know about free public transportation, traffic changes, and reserving parking spaces at Atlas Arena.

One of this summer’s biggest music events—the Łódź Summer Festival (ŁSF)—is about to begin. To ensure that all attendees can comfortably and efficiently travel to Łódź’s Błonia Park and return home from the concerts, a comprehensive transportation plan has been prepared. We encourage you to review the detailed information regarding free public transportation, special festival bus routes, traffic changes, and designated parking areas.

Parking Reservations at Atlas Arena for the ŁSF

For festival attendees who choose to drive their own cars, we are providing an official parking lot at Atlas Arena. To ensure you have a parking spot right next to the convenient transfer zone for the festival, we encourage you to reserve your spot in advance. Details and reservations are available on Atlas Arena’s official channels.

NEW – RV Area

We have also set up a dedicated area for RVs. Only 6 spots will be available to guests. Sales will begin before the festival starts—on July 14. Reservations for parking spots and RV tickets will be available through Atlas Arena’s official channels and on the Biletyna website.

Free MPK for all participants

All passengers will be able to ride MPK Łódź vehicles completely free of charge. Free rides will be availablefrom Friday, July 24 (starting at 3:00 p.m.) through Monday, July 27 (until 4:00 a.m.). Free public transportation applies both within the administrative boundaries of Łódź and to all neighboring towns served by Łódź’s MPK (including Pabianice, Zgierz, Aleksandrów Łódzki, and Brzeziny).

Special Festival Bus Route 603

Throughout all three days of the festival, an express, direct bus route (No.603) will operate from the city center to Błonia in Łódź:

  • Route:From the Piotrkowska Centrum stop (on Mickiewicza Avenue, between Kościuszki Street and Piotrkowska Street, on the side of the Hilton Hotel) directly to Kusocińskiego Street at Juszczakiewicza (the festival’s main entrance).
  • Frequency:During peak festival hours, buses will run every2–3 minutes.
  • Return:The return bus stop from the festival will be located on Armii Krajowej Street at the intersection with Kusocińskiego Street. The bus does not stop at any intermediate stops.

Extended public transportation service throughout the night

Regular tram and bus routes serving Retkinia (trams 10, 12, and 14, and buses 76, 80, and 99) will run on Friday, Saturday, and Sundayuntil 2:00–3:00 a.m. Additionally:

  • Bus lines 16 and 52 will be rerouted to Retkinia from Chojny.
  • The N2 night bus line, running between Retkinia and the City Center, will operate more frequently, every 15 minutes.
  • Service on lines 2, 3, 6, 11, and 57 will also be extended until 2:00–3:00 a.m., allowing for a convenient transfer at Piotrkowska Centrum to the festival line 603.
  • Trams will run from both sides of the festival: Line 43 will take passengers from Konstantynów Łódzki to Brus, while Line Z43 will run from Legionów Street to Krańcowa Street. From the Zdrowie side, the route of Line Z13 will also be extended, and the night line N3 will run along Konstantynowska and Krakowska Streets.

Free Łódź Metropolitan Railway (ŁKA)

During the festival, travel on ŁKA trains within Łódź will be free of charge. After the concerts end, a total of 18 additional trains will depart from theŁódź RetkiniaandŁódź Kaliskastops (located right next to Atlas Arena), heading, among other destinations, toward Pabianice, Zgierz, Ozorków, Koluszki, Skierniewice, Głowno, Łowicz, Łask, Zduńska Wola, Sieradz, Kutno, and Tomaszów Mazowiecki.

By bike, scooter, or taxi

  • Scooters and Bicycles:To ensure safety and facilitate pedestrian traffic, the ability to return scooters in Retkinia right outside the festival gate will be limited. Personal bicycles can be safely parked in the designated bike parking area at the intersection of Kusocińskiego and Armii Krajowej Streets (equipped with several dozen bike racks).
  • Taxis:Access by taxi will be possible only from Popiełuszki Street toward the Kusocińskiego–Juszczakiewicza intersection (destination address: 117 Kusocińskiego Street), where a special taxi stand has been designated; taxis will not be allowed to proceed beyond this point.

Key Changes to Traffic Management

From Wednesday, July 22 (6:00 p.m.) until the end of Monday, July 27, Konstantynowska Street (from Krańcowa to Juszczakiewicza) will be closed to traffic. From Friday through Monday, the following streets will also be closed: Juszczakiewicza, Konstantynowska (from Prochowa to Krakowska), Kusocińskiego at Juszczakiewicza, and Kusocińskiego (from Retkińska to Armii Krajowej—with one-way traffic permitted for residents).

To ensure the smooth flow of MPK buses, from Friday through Sunday, the upper lanes of Piłsudskiego Avenue and Mickiewicz Avenue (from Sienkiewicza to Kościuszki—access through the tunnel remains unchanged) as well as Żwirki Street (from Kościuszki to Piotrkowska) will be closed to passenger cars.
