42,000 participants from 70 countries, thousands of companies, and the most important players in the real estate market. From October 5 to 7, Łódź will be at the center of business discussions during EXPO REAL in Munich. The city will showcase its land, projects, and potential to investors—and topics will include, among others, high-speed rail and the defense sector.
Łódź is looking for more investors
EXPO REAL serves as a one-stop hub for ideas and capital in the real estate industry. In 2025, the trade show attracted approximately 42,000 visitors from 70 countries. This year, Łódź will also be showcasing its offerings there.
Representatives from Koda Advisory, Linesa Investment, JHM Development, OKAM, Hillwood, Rex-Bud, A&A, and the Łódź Special Economic Zone, among others, will be present at the city’s booth. There will be presentations on investment sites and projects, but above all, opportunities to talk with companies looking for a location for their next project.
From the First Meeting to the Investment
A major investment doesn’t begin with the groundbreaking ceremony. First come the initial discussions, followed by subsequent meetings, visits to the city, presentations of specific properties, and months of negotiations. “When it comes to large investments, we take a long-term approach. The initial conversation may take place at a trade show, but it’s followed by further meetings, investor visits to Łódź, and months of work,” says Adam Pustelnik, First Vice Mayor of Łódź.
The results of this work can already be seen in Łódź. Among the properties that have been presented to investors in recent years are, among others, the buildings on Ogrodowa Street, properties on Składowa and Dostawcza Streets, and projects on Mickiewicza, Gdańska, Nawrot, and Sienkiewicza Streets.
Łódź Shows What It Has to Offer
During EXPO REAL, the city will showcase, among other things, industrial and logistics sites, brownfield projects, the New Center of Łódź, and opportunities in the residential, hotel, and service sectors.
Another important topic will be the development of high-speed rail and its significance for the city’s investment appeal. City officials also want to discuss the potential of the defense and security sector, which could open up new opportunities for industry, logistics, and the real estate market.
