February 25, 2026 - A New Year's Gala straight from Vienna! The Johann Strauss Orchestra will perform in Łódź

The high turnout and enthusiastic reception of the January concert confirmed that Johann Strauss’s music can captivate everyone and still sound beautiful. Another encounter with Viennese tradition will take place on January 23, 2027, at Atlas Arena in Łódź. The Johann Strauss Orchestra concert is an event not only for music lovers, but for everyone who wants to kick off the new year with a New Year’s gala in style! Tickets will be available on the Atlas Arena website starting February 27.

The Kraków concert was an evening full of elegance, finesse, and timeless melodies. The most popular pieces, “On the Beautiful Blue Danube” and “Radetzky March,” drew long ovations. The audience was captivated by the orchestra’s classical sound, the soloists’ masterful interpretations, and the characteristic, light Viennese style under the baton of Markus Huber. Similar emotions await us next year as well, during the concert in Łódź.

Johann Strauss Jr., often referred to today as the world’s first pop star, was already able to draw thousands of listeners in the 19th century and create a spectacular atmosphere around his music. His waltzes, polkas, and marches became a mass phenomenon, spreading far beyond the borders of Austria and Europe. To this day, the works of the Strauss dynasty resound in the world’s most prestigious concert halls—from Vienna to New York—without losing any of their freshness and charm.

The concert at Atlas Arena promises to be a spectacular kickoff to the 2027 musical season. The program will feature Strauss’s most famous compositions, including “The Blue Danube,” “Polka Tritsch-Tratsch,” “The Imperial Waltz,” “Roses of the South,” and a rousing medley of Viennese

melody, which has become one of the most anticipated moments of the Kraków gala. There will also be the customary interaction with the audience during “Radetzky’s March,” which traditionally brings the New Year’s concerts to a close in a spirit of shared celebration.

– The evening in Kraków demonstrated that Johann Strauss’s music still has an extraordinary impact and can draw a full house of audiences eager for the best in classical music. The ovations and audience reactions were the best proof for us that such events are needed. I am convinced that the concert in Łódź will receive an equally enthusiastic reception and will become one of the most important musical moments of early 2027,” says Janusz Stefański of the Prestige MJM agency, which is organizing the event.

The concert by the Vienna Johann Strauss Orchestra will take place on January 23, 2027, at Atlas Arena in Łódź. Tickets for the concert will go on sale on Friday, February 27, at 10:00 a.m. They will be available at www.atlasarena.pl
