March 18, 2026 – Placebo celebrates its 30th anniversary – concert at Atlas Arena in Łódź

Placebo is returning to Poland as part of their anniversary tour, the Placebo – 30th Anniversary Tour. On November 18, 2026, the British band will perform at Atlas Arena in Łódź, showcasing material from their first two albums: *Placebo* and *Without You I’m Nothing*.

The tour accompanies the release of the album “Placebo RE:CREATED,” which will be released on June 19, 2026, by Elevator Lady Ltd (distributed by AWAL). The album is a new interpretation of the band’s 1996 debut album—the material was produced using the original master tapes, drawing on the band’s thirty years of live performance experience.

From the very beginning, Placebo stood out from the Britpop scene. At a time when nostalgic guitar rock dominated the scene, the band offered a more provocative and uncompromising take on topics such as identity, sexuality, addiction, and alienation. Their debut album quickly became one of the defining voices of a generation, and its influence remains evident to this day.

“Placebo RE:CREATED” features remastered versions of all the tracks from the original album, as well as additional bonus tracks. As the band members point out, the project is a kind of

“director’s cut” – an attempt to bring the material full circle from the perspective of time and adapt it to contemporary sounds, while preserving its original energy and authenticity.

“This is a celebration of our beginnings and a meeting between who we were and who we are today. We wanted to pay tribute to that innocence, while allowing these songs to resonate with the strength and experience we’ve gained over the years,” the band comments.

The fall tour will include 36 concerts across Europe and the UK, drawing hundreds of thousands of fans. As part of the tour, Placebo will also perform songs that haven’t been played live in over two decades. The show at Atlas Arena will be the band’s only concert in central Poland.

The band will also take the stage at the legendary Royal Albert Hall during the Teenage Cancer Trust charity concerts, where—at the invitation of Robert Smith of The Cure—they will perform alongside Garbage.
