Tate McRae releases his long-awaited third album So Close To What on RCA Records. The album alludes to life's insurmountable moments, when the road ahead seems endless and the destination remains elusive. It is an introspective journey into the depths of self-discovery, love and nostalgia. The album's songs touch on the raw emotions of healing a broken heart and the uncertainty that accompanies falling in love again. They also tell of the beautiful but sometimes brutal realities of being a woman and discovering new self-confidence.

Immersed in addictive pop production and full of authentic lyrics, So Close To Whatproduced in collaboration with top hitmakers such as Ryan Tedder, Grant Boutin, Amy Allen, Julia Michaels and others. The album features the song "Sports car," which has conquered social media, garnering more than one million creations on TikTok, and is currently in the top 15 on US Pop Radio. The songs also include the extremely catchy "It's ok I'm ok," which reached #1 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Pop Songs chart and became the highest debuting song of Tate's career on the Billboard Hot 100. Today Tate unveils the official music video for her new song "Revolving door," directed by Aerin Moreno (Tyla, Tinashe) with choreography by Robbie Blue (Charli XCX, Doechii). In the clip, the artist is stuck in a mysterious space, constantly dancing and unable to open any passage. The visuals reflect her relationship with the "revolving door" of her life and career, when the destination seems undefined.

In March, Tate will embark on a world tour, the "Miss Possessive Tour," which will include 50 concerts in South America, Europe, the UK and North America. Produced by Live Nation, the tour will kick off on March 18 in Mexico City and conclude on September 26 in Los Angeles. Support acts will include Benee (at all concerts in Europe and the UK) and Zara Larsson (at all concerts in the US and Canada).
