October 27, 2025 - Three events in two days! We’ve just had an (un)usual weekend at the MAKiS facilities!

Thousands of plant lovers, Polish cabaret fans, and punk rock enthusiasts visited the Municipal Culture and Sports Arena facilities last weekend. From October 25 to 26, Atlas Arena and Sport Arena hosted three major, completely different events: the two-day Plant Festival, Polish Cabaret Night, and a concert by The Offspring.

Throughout the weekend, Sport Arena, located next to Atlas Arena, was transformed into a green jungle thanks to the Plant Festival—Poland’s largest event for plant lovers. Thousands of plants awaited visitors—from popular species priced as low as 5 PLN to unique collector’s gems. There was also no shortage of trendy planters, specialized potting mixes, and accessories. The free-admission event drew huge crowds of Łódź residents all day Saturday and Sunday.

The audience experienced a completely different atmosphere on Saturday evening at Atlas Arena, where the Polish Cabaret Night took place under the slogan “A Kingdom for a Smile!”. The top acts of the Polish cabaret scene performed before the Łódź audience: Kabaret Skeczów Męczących, Kabaret Nowaki, Kabaret Młodych Panów, Kabaret Smile, Igor Kwiatkowski, and many others. It was a true marathon of laughter and positive energy.

Sunday, October 26, was marked by a powerful punk rock sound at Atlas Arena. As part of their international “Supercharged Worldwide in ’25” tour, the legendary American band The Offspring took the stage. The band promoted their latest album, “Supercharged,” treating fans to a powerful dose of energy while not forgetting their biggest hits. It was the band’s only stop in Poland on the tour, and the concert was organized by Live Nation Polska.

Three such diverse events in just two days show just how vibrant the Atlas Arena – Sport Arena complex is. From plants to rock music, from laughter to the excitement of a concert—every weekend at the MAKiS venues in Łódź brings something new and surprising.
