The third stage of the Perlage CAVALIADA Tour is now behind us; for the first time in the series’ history, it took place in Łódź. A total of 177 riders from 16 countries competed on 254 horses at the Atlas Arena, and over 15,000 spectators watched the event from the stands. There was no shortage of excitement—both in the competitions counting toward the Tour and in the young riders’ competition and other series.

Perlage CAVALIADA Tour – Łódź Grand Prix and Grand Prix

Friday’s Grand Prix (145 cm) competition, the fifth stage of the Perlage CAVALIADA Tour, attracted 47 pairs. Nineteen of them completed the course designed by Marco Hesse without any faults. Andrius Petrovas (Lithuania) on Qarath van Paebroek Z proved to be the best in the final jump-off.
Second place went to Marvin Jüngel (Germany) on Helene 50, and third place went to Jarosław Skrzyczyński on Komboy, who finished just 0.42 seconds behind the winner.

Sunday’s Łódź Grand Prix (150 cm) —the sixth stage of the Tour, which counts toward the world rankings—confirmed the excellent form of the Polish riders. Ten pairs advanced to the final, six of whom represented Poland.
Jarosław Skrzyczyński claimed victory on the 11-year-old gelding Komboy, capping off a very successful weekend in Łódź.

Second place went to Wojciech Wojcianiec on Aliean Zin’Galeriani, third to Dawid Skiba on Odilon van het Bevrijdthof, and fourth to Marek Lewicki on Quadis II —all four riders completed the course and the jump-off without any faults.

After three stages, Maksymilian Wechta (42 points) remains the leader of the Perlage CAVALIADA Tour standings, ahead of Marek Lewicki (40 points) and Jarosław Skrzyczyński (35 points). The final standings will be decided at the finale in Kraków, where Grand Prix points will count double.

Special mention goes to Nell Klupś, who leads the MINI category, and Bianka Pellowska, the leader of the MIDI category.

As usual, the Relay Race—which combines equestrian sports with motorsports—drew a large crowd; the team featuring Helena Lubońska and Angelos Touloupis came out on top.
