LemON band's 10th anniversary

"Ten years ago the tiny seed of the band LemON was formed.
It was November 27, 2011. I was 21 years old and walking around Wroclaw in the morning. Don't ask why, the answer is contained in the information that I was 21 at the time. The sun was beginning to boldly reflect in the Oder River, it was chilly, but pleasant and crisp. Just past the bridge of lovers, on which it was still allowed to hang padlocks, on some pole I saw a casting announcement for the Must Be The Music program. Under the pink logo, I think it was: you can come solo or with a band. And it was in that moment that I decided that I would start a band that day.
That's how it started. During those ten years, ten musicians played in the band's lineup. But even in the midst of the biggest blizzards and storms - because they have to happen, when people create together, live together on the road, eat breakfast together at the hotel and peanuts at the station for dinner - it never crossed my mind that LemON might not exist.
LemON has held a hugely important place in my heart - ever since that Wroclaw morning in 2011.
A few hours later, I lined up in a few dozen meters long casting call in front of the hotel - along with my cousin Adam, who played guitar very well. Adam, like me, is of Lemko descent, and Lemkos in such situations do not refuse. They simply take the guitar and go to see what will happen.
The unthinkable happened.

Less than 5 months later, we won a TV show with our original music, reportedly with a record number of text messages in a talent show to date (if you voted for me then, I would like to thank you).
During the final performance of the song Deviat, which I wrote on the way to the TV studio, I sang like I had never sung before. So much so that my vocal cords broke during the performance (fact.)
We recorded our debut album. We didn't know how to record a record - and we had two weeks to do it, but - like many things afterwards - we somehow managed.

Somehow we managed to get gold, platinum and double platinum records. Somehow we managed to get with songs like Napraw and Scarlett to radio stations. Somehow we managed to survive both successes for which we were not ready and fully deserved failures.

These 10 years are 10 years of difficult decisions. Naive perhaps, but uncompromising approach to music. Thousands of applause from thousands of stages all over Poland and beyond. Thousands of you, fans, whose eyes glazed with emotion, give me personally, and us - our team, faith that what we sing and play is important to you.

We have matured together.
We have argued.
We have parted.
We have missed.
We have discovered.
We were surviving.

Today, after 10 years - out of this longing for each other, out of romantic nostalgia, out of the most wonderful memories, the LemON X LemON project is born.
Ten special concerts for our tenth anniversary.
On stage, as guests, after years together will also perform, can I say that about them? Our legends, the first lineup of LemON: Adam, Budyn, Andrew (yes!), without whom nothing would have started, or at least would not have started like this.

We will stand on one stage - me and my guys from Musta from 2012. And the final, mature lineup of LemON - known to you now: Piotr Kolacz (always together), Harry (who competed with us on the same Must be the Music stage - in the same final! It's just unbelievable that today we play together and we can't imagine how it could be otherwise) and for 3 years together with us, wonderful brothers: Przemek and Tomasz Swierk.
We will all visit together all 10 cities where the concerts will take place.
These are big places. Because we have a lot of stories to tell.
On stage we will be helped by our guests... wonderful artists with whom we have shared the stage over these 10 years...
You remember our performance with Against all odds - with Agnieszka Chylinska. Yes, she will also play with us... And the performance with Kayah? She will also be there... I will go barefoot with Sebastian Karpiel? And he agreed... and Kuba Badach.... and... Katarzyna Nosowska and Mioush , as well as Edyta Górniak , Sanah, Grubson, Kwiat Jabloni, Renata Przemyk , Piotr Rogucki, Ralph Kaminski, Mery Spolsky , Grzegorz Skawinski , Kamil Bednarek , Slawek Uniatowski , Pawel Domagala , Mela Koteluk , Tomasz Organek , Natalia Szroeder , Grzegorz Turnau.
It's amazing, but... it looks like we all like each other.
